Michael Faraday was born on September 22, 1791, in London, United Kingdom, and died on August 25, 1867, in Molesey, United Kingdom.  Faraday was an English chemist and physicist. He was most famous for his work in electricity (specifically electromagnetism and electrochemistry). The most profound of these discoveries were on the nature of electromagnetic induction, electrolysis, and diamagnetism.
