Babe Ruth (George Herman Ruth) was born on February 6, 1895, and died on August 16, 1948. Ruth was an American professional baseball player. He played 22 seasons. He was called the “The Sultan of Swat” and “the Bambino.” He is considered one of the Great American Sports Heroes. And many consider him the best baseball player of all time.
