Archimedes was born c. 287 and died c. 212 BC. Archiemdes was a Greek polymath. He focused on mathematics, physics, engineering, astronomy, and inventing. Not that much is known about his life. He is often regarded as the Greatest scientist of antiquity. He is famous for the Archimedes principle regarding buoyancy, and for inventing devices such as the Archimedes screw and the first-ever compound pulley.
